Kulhi Riha (spicy curry)

Kuli Riha


 Ingredients

  • 400 grams fresh fish or smoked fish(valho mas)
  • 1 big onion
  • 4 garlic
  • Curry leaves
  • Chile (scotch bonnet)
  • 3 cardamon
  • 1/2 inch cinnamon
  • 2 or 3 table spoon chilie powder
  • 1 table spoon cumin powder
  • 2 table spoon oil
  • 1 1/2 table spoon salt
  • 1 small tin tomato paste
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cup coconut thick milk


Preparation

 

Cut the onion, garlic, tomato and fish into cubes.

Marinate fish with 1 table spoon of chili powder and some salt.

Salute the onion, garlic, chili, curry leaves, cardamon, cinnamon in oil until brown in a pot.


Add the fish into the pot add 3 spoon of water and salute it for 10 mins.

Add 2 spoon of chili powder, chopped tomato and tomato paste into it, cook for 5 mins add the coconut milk. In low flame cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

 Serve it with rice or flat bread.
